ਬਾਜ ਤੇ ਘੋੜਾ – Falcon and Horse

ਬਾਜ ਸੰਤ ਪੁਰਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੁਹਾਨੀ ਪਰਵਾਜ਼ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਘੋੜਾ ਬਾਹਰੀ ਜਾਂ ਵਿਹਾਰਕ ਤੋਰ ਦਾ। ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਖਾਲਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਗੁਣਾ ਦਾ ਧਾਰਨੀ ਬਣਾ ਸੰਤ-ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਦੇ ਤੋਰ ਤੇ ਨਿਵਾਜਿਆ

Falcon is the symbol of the saint’s Internal spiritual strength and horse, that of external or social strength. Guru Sahib bestowed upon the Khalsa both these virtues and blessed him to become a saint-soldier.
